Hand-drawn Plans and Computer Aided Design

At Envisage...  gardens by design, we are fluent in both hand drawing plans and Computer Aided Design (CAD)   

We employ the best of both techniques by using  traditional hand drawing for the initial concept plans. This gives a more natural feel to the designs and avoids the rigidity often associated with CAD.

Once you have agreed the basic design concept, our Cadmaster transfers the design onto the computer. CAD plans are easy to replicate so everyone involved (you, the designers, the construction team and the plant people) are all looking at the same plan and the plans are much more accurate so no chance of a particular feature not fitting in the space allocated. Additionally, accurate plans mean better quantity surveying and less waste!
